Fu Yan Temple

Fu Yan Temple was built in A.D. 568, by the monk Hui Shi, who was famous for his deep understanding  of Ban Rou Canon. In A.D. 713, famous Buddha Qee Zhu Huai Ran began to give classes and taught disciples in this temple. Ever since then Sudden Cognition school began to prevail in Buddhism circle. Later in Song Dynasty it was renamed as Fu Yan Temple and played important role in the development of Chinese Buddhism.


Huang Ting Temple

Huang Ting Temple is famous due to Ms. Wei, who was a renowned women Taoist. When aged 83 she changed her form into brilliant light and was gone on the back of a white crane. So, she was titled Ms. Mount Heng. Ms. Wei was born in Ren City, Shan Dong Province, and in childhood she had so much interests in studying Tao books that she wanted not to be married. Later due to her parents' command she married Mr. Liu Youyan. Ms. Wei had two boys and two girls and settled down in Huang Ting Temple to escape war. Then she spent most of her time to study Huang Ting Internal Landscape Canon. When she was 65 she looked so young that many people regarded her as a girl in 16. In Chinese Literature there are much poem and many legendary stories concerning her.

Zhu Rong Temple

Zhu Rong Temple was constructed in A.D.1504, upon
highest peak of Mount Heng. In Wei dynasty famous Taoist Du Xuecai came to this place and exclaimed:" The infinite cloud sea has cleansed my heart of all stray thoughts."

Gao Tai Temple

Gao Tai Temple was constructed before A.D.1167. In 1546 it was renovated. The renowned Buddha Chu Shi
lived in this temple.
