Dayang Qigong Introduction The practice of Qigong dates back at least two thousand years. Many ancient cultures felt that a "energy flow" regulated the functioning of their bodies and of the world around them. In China, manipulation of this flow to improve health was gradually formalized in such medical disciplines as acupuncture, acupressure, and Qigong. Qigong is credited with much more. It has cured much of formidable chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and asthma. Doctors recommend it for migraines, hemorrhoids, constipation, diabetes, high blood pressure, menstrual problems, prostate trouble, impotence, and pain. But it is really not easy to gain progress. There are two reasons: first, the patients or practitioners must have strong will power to persist in the practice every day. Second, There are at least 3,000 variations, ranging from simple movements that coordinate breathing and calisthenics to complex exercises, so, a proper choice for an effective school is essential for the future progress. Yet, most the cases are: patients or practitioners fail to meet the two requirements. Thus the rumor arises that qigong is just a lie. Dayan Qigong is a content-rich set of system consisting of two categories: dynamic and silient. For the former, the routine forms imitate wild goose's shape, movements or even habits, with the aim letting the internal energy flow smoothly within the body along the channels and meridians, thus moving away the thwarting blocks. In a whole, all forms shine out the feeling of wonderful homony consisting both softness and hardness, of unrestrainedness, simpleness, and lightness. Also, some strang feeling may arise to the heart that seems to fly over the wild stretch of ocean and the vastness overpowers all consciousness. Such DVD is of English version and both the English subtitle and explanation can help practitioners well understand the essentials of Da Yan Qigong. Yang Mei Jun, who is the first woman introducing the set of forms and the generation descendant of such school of qigong, gives lectures in the program regarding the key points for every phases in the 128-posture routine forms. Her disciple showcases every postures in a detailed way (reviewed often from front or back). The following are contents in the DVDs: DVD Disk 1
